FULLY AUTOMATED PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SINGLE-LAYER TERRAZZO TILES
BUILT BY “LONGINOTTI MECCANICA” FOR A PRODUCTION OF 100 M3/HOUR.
It was installed, entirely new, in 2002 and stopped all activity in 2014.
Its condition is excellent and the maintenance has always been optimum and responsible.
Only 3 operators are required for its full function.
The plant is composed by the following machinery:
• Mixing line with silos, hoppers with weighing cells, 2 mixers and automatic dosator to moulds.
• Revolving press with 5 moulding stations, with water/air vacuum pump and tiles automatic extraction.
• Robot for tiles extraction, trays feeding and cured tiles taken off with delivery to calibration line.
• Trays conveyor robot to curing chambers and cured tiles taken off for delivery to extraction robot.
• Cured tiles turning conveyor to put them face down for calibrating machine intake.
• Calibrating machine with two diamond discs heads to get the perfect and same tiles tickness.
• Turning conveyor to put tiles face up and place them to the automatic polishing machine.
• Automatic polishing machine with 17 heads (5 grinding heads and 12 polishing heads).
• Heads chamfering machine with automatic rotation and gloss finish.
• Gas furnace for conveyor belt drying and humidity removing, and turning base and delivery conveyor to packets machine.
• Machine suitable to place every 4 tiles in cardboard boxes and to delivery them to palletizer.
• Automatic palletizer.
• Collection of various moulds.
• Peripheral devices and different spare parts.
