Taihan Fiberoptics Co., Ltd. (The Korean No.1 manufacturer) was founded in 1974 as part of Taihan Group, one of the largest cable manufacturers in Asia. Taihan has developed and commercialized fiber optic cables in 1977, optical glass via VAD method in 1984, and OPGW in 1987.
Over 48 years of experience serving fiber optic cable years of experience serving fiber optic cable users around the world positions Taihan Fiberoptics as the trusted partner in communication end of the energy sector and the telecom industry. We have optimized VAD Process to develop and commercialize high quality synthetic fused silica. Through high optimization of the process, we have achieved extremely high purity, low-OH content, and low birefringence thus allowing its use in the semiconductor industry.
